Privacy policy: Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes, Inc. (FOTO), signs Business Associate Agreements with all of our customers who are healthcare providers. They are 'Covered Entities' under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, commonly referred to as 'HIPAA.' These Business Associate Agreements outline our responsibilities as it pertains to our handling of patient data. FOTO procedures for the protection and confidentiality of individually identifiable patient information, specifically Protected Health Information (PHI), will meet or exceed the requirements set forth by HIPAA and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) further defined in our Business Associate Agreements and license agreements with our customers.
